Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack) – Web Platform
Location: San Francisco, CA (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Senior (5+ Years)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to help build and scale a high-growth web platform. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end web experience, bringing a successful mobile product to the web while laying the groundwork for future expansion.
You’ll play a key role in shaping architecture, defining engineering standards, and delivering impactful features used by millions of users.
What You’ll Do
- Build and launch a scalable web platform from the ground up
- Develop a web version of an existing high-growth mobile application
- Define best practices for React and modern frontend development
- Own and enhance internal tools and dashboards for data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design APIs and data models
- Improve performance, scalability, and user experience
- Create polished UI with animations, micro-interactions, and responsive design
✅ Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack web development
- Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Experience building scalable, production-grade web applications
- Solid understanding of API design and system architecture
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with React Native
- Background in building consumer-facing or high-scale applications
- Passion for UX/UI and performance optimization
