Customer Support Specialist

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Customer Support Specialist for a mission-driven healthcare technology organization that develops innovative tools to help independent healthcare providers deliver high-quality patient care. This is an onsite position located in Summerlin, Nevada, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Pacific Time. This is a temporary, full-time assignment expected to last approximately 3–6 months. Position Overview This temporary Customer Support Specialist will provide essential support to customer service and onboarding operations within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, empathetic, and comfortable following established processes while managing sensitive information. Responsibilities Process daily customer support cases and onboarding tasks while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. Update customer records and workflow information using software platforms and established procedures. Communicate with customers through clear, concise, and empathetic email correspondence. Maintain accurate case notes, track progress, and identify missing information or issues requiring additional support. Safeguard confidential and sensitive information while following applicable privacy and security procedures. Escalate questions, challenges, or issues that fall outside established processes and collaborate with team members to resolve customer needs. Qualifications Experience working with data entry, customer support, operations, or structured workflows within a software or technology environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately handle confidential or sensitive information. Clear, professional written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with empathy and de‑escalate challenging customer interactions. Comfortable learning new technology and working within established procedures, checklists, and standard operating processes. Reliable, adaptable, coachable, and able to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance or escalat an issue. Compensation and Benefits This temporary, full-time position offers $25 per hour and is expected to last approximately 3–6 months. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Pacific Time, and the position is onsite in Summerlin, Nevada. A laptop will be provided for the duration of the assignment.
