About the Role

As a **Maintenance Technician **, you will support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment (MHE) and various supporting systems throughout the facility. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while developing your technical skills and mentoring junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment by following all company and equipment safety procedures.
• Complete preventive maintenance routines and ensure all work is properly documented.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues involving material handling equipment, including:
• Conveyor belts and systems
• Motors
• Photo-eyes and sensors
• Relays
• Automated packaging and distribution equipment
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment and supporting systems.
• Maintain positive and effective working relationships across Operations.
• Track, organize, and maintain department inventory.
• Mentor and support junior maintenance technicians in developing their technical skills.
• Safely lift and move equipment, parts, and tools weighing up to 49 pounds .
• Work shifts of up to 12 hours , including extended periods of standing and walking.
• Travel at least 90% of the time , frequently for extended assignments.

This position requires the ability to:

• Repetitively bend, crouch, kneel, reach, twist, sit, stand, and walk.
• Lift parts and tools weighing approximately 20 pounds on average , with occasional lifting of up to 49 pounds .
• Perform tasks requiring strong eye
