This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse with trauma level one experience. The ideal candidate will have proven competencies in caring for immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring intensive care. This role requires efficient management of high-acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring needs.

Responsibilities

• Caring for postoperative cardiac and vascular patients in the CVICU.
• Monitoring high-acuity patients necessitating advanced hemodynamic assessment.
• Efficiently managing ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
• Administering and titrating vasoactive and inotropic drips as required.
• Interpreting and monitoring ECG readings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3 years of experience in a CVICU setting.
• Epic experience is required.
• Competency test to be completed within 24 hours of submission.
• Navy blue scrubs are required.
• Must have previous travel experience.
