Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

Windsor, CT
$33–$36/hour

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians while helping residents improve mobility, rebuild strength, and achieve greater independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Help residents improve strength, balance, gait, endurance, and functional mobility
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the care team

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
