Overview Join Sysmex as a Hemostasis Strategic Consultant and lead all hemostasis sales activities in your territory. You will collaborate with account managers, corporate executives, and cross‑functional teams to drive the adoption of Sysmex’s hemostasis solutions and achieve annual sales goals. Responsibilities Formulate and execute a detailed Territory Plan to achieve annual sales objectives, in close collaboration with HSAMs and RSDs. Navigate the full sales lifecycle - from prospecting and qualifying through complex negotiations and closing - to position Sysmex’s superiority over the competition. Drive strong collaboration with a cross‑functional team, including HSAMs, Support, Marketing, Corporate Accounts, and Consulting teams. Present Sysmex’s “Lab‑of‑the‑Future” Specialty vision, emphasizing how the hemostasis portfolio integrates with specialty testing, automation, and digital solutions. Deliver Clinical, Operational, and Financial (COF) presentations to all levels of hospital management. Maintain rigorous CRM discipline and use data‑driven tactics to move opportunities through the funnel. Apply independent decision‑making and analytical techniques to deliver Territory growth and build formal collaboration frameworks. Administer the responsible use of company assets and operate within company guidelines. Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitive intelligence to adapt sales strategies. Maintain a high‑impact field presence of an average 4 days per week. Perform other duties as assigned. Travel: 70% of the time. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or 7 years of experience in medical sales or laboratory sciences (military experience acceptable). Preferred: Bachelor’s with a specialization in Business or Science. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. 7 years of proven sales experience (Medical Technologist degree is favorable). Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Strategic thinking: ability to position Sysmex as a long‑term partner. Deep technical knowledge of multi‑wavelength detection, automated reflex testing, and lab efficiency. Competitive displacement skills: uncover latent pain in accounts and challenge status quo. Executive presence: professional gravitas and credibility with high‑level buyers. Strong interpersonal, persuasive communication skills. Customer‑centered mindset. Maturity, professionalism, and tact when dealing with customers and associates. Ability to identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities. Strong sense of urgency, a “can‑do” attitude, and a desire to achieve goals. Team‑oriented: works effectively with others. Credentialing requirements: proof of current vaccinations for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and COVID‑19. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $125,000 – $165,000, adjusted for location and experience. Total compensation includes an annual incentive bonus, fleet vehicle, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave, and a 401(K) for eligible employees.
