Job Description

Are you mechanically inclined and looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing? We are seeking dependable Machine Operators to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, operating machinery, and maintaining quality standards. Must have metal cutting machining experience using drills and taps.

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring assigned equipment while ensuring machined parts meet quality specifications and production expectations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery according to work instructions
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and tolerance standards are met
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Support production goals while working collaboratively with team members

Qualifications and Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and experience using basic hand tools required
• Must have metal cutting machining experience using drills and taps.
• Ability to follow written instructions and quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and dependability
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must successfully complete a mechanical aptitude test with a passing score of 80% or higher

Schedule

• Full-time 2nd shift
• Minimum of 48 hours per week required on critical production lines
• Overtime opportunities available
