Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This opportunity is open to experienced professionals as well as new graduates who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

The Respiratory Therapist will provide high-quality respiratory care, perform diagnostic testing, administer therapeutic treatments, and manage patients requiring invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory conditions and treatment effectiveness.
• Administer respiratory therapies including:
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Aerosolized medications
  • Chest physiotherapy
• Assist with placement and management of artificial airways.
• Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in transporting ventilator-dependent patients safely.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide airway management during resuscitation efforts.
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Certificate in Respiratory Therapy.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential accepted.
• Active Florida Respiratory Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
