Cath LAB Technologist

Hours of Work : PRN Days Of Week : Mon-Friday Work Shift : Job Purpose Assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under the direction of the supervisor and physician. Job Requirements Education: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program or Current student in approved cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS) program Licenses and/or Certifications: R.T. (R) through ARRT and registered with Texas Medical Board or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS)or RCIS obtained within 12 months of hire following graduation from approved RCIS program Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association Advanced Cardio Life support (ACLS) Certification, American Heart Association Work Experience: 1 year experience in a cardiac cath lab with general understanding of cath procedures and related complication preferred.
