Overview Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is hiring a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist for a full‑time, day shift position in Woodbridge, VA. The schedule is 5 eight‑hour days with a minimum of 8 on‑call shifts per month, including at least one weekend, and on‑call coverage must be within 30 minutes of the facility. Sign‑on bonus up to $5,000 available for qualified candidates. Location & Shift City/State: Woodbridge, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Department Overview The Cath Lab team at Sentara includes approximately 50 staff members—monitor techs, cardiovascular invasive techs, registered nurses, and patient care staff. The team performs about 10 procedures per day across EP, Cardiac, and IR labs. Role Summary The Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist assists physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedure accuracy. Key responsibilities include baseline patient assessment, monitoring patient response during catheterization, providing patient care under physician direction, and acting as a first assistant during procedures.
