Summary: Delivers care for a group of patients applying the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Is responsible for professional accountability and seeks opportunities to develop. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

Essential: Education equivalent experience:

• Associates - Nursing; Or - Diploma - Nursing;

Preferred:

• Bachelors - Nursing

Credentials: Essential:

• Basic Life Support
• Registered Nurse
• ACLS
• Pediatric Advanced Life Suppor

Required: Credential equivalent experience:

• BLS (Basic Life Support);

Required:

• RN (Registered Nurse);

Required:

• ACLS (Cardiovascular) - If required by department;

Preferred:

• Nurse Specialty
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - if required by department

Location: Winter Haven

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 12 hrs Shift: Shift 1

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
