Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Collaborate closely with a dedicated educational team, supporting students in grades 2-3 (ages 7-8) and helping them achieve their communication goals throughout the school year.

Key Details:

• Contract assignment running from August 25 through June 3, 2027
• Work up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Consistent schedule: 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM
• Manage a caseload of 28-30 students within Altoona Elementary School

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Experience providing speech/language support services in a school setting
• Dynamic, enthusiastic, and reliable professional
• Strong collaborator with outstanding communication skills
• Ability to engage effectively with children, teachers, and families
• Preference for in-person support (teletherapy is not the preferred model)

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services under SLP supervision
• Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Maintain accurate data and session notes
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student progress
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
