Systems Safety Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Level 4 Aerospace Systems Safety Engineer to support an in‑service safety team for a leading aerospace client. This role focuses on leading end‑to‑end investigations into airplane safety events and identifying root cause and preventive actions across the aircraft lifecycle. This individual will facilitate cross‑functional teams, partner with FAA and internal stakeholders, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations. This is not a design role—the focus is on investigation, documentation, and preventing future issues. This position is onsite in Everett, Washington 5 days a week onsite. Required Skills and Experience 8–10+ years of aerospace, systems, or safety engineering experience Bachelor’s (or higher) in Engineering or related field Strong experience leading root cause investigations (RCCA) Experience with structured problem solving (e.g., BPSM) Strong leadership and communication skills Experience working with commercial aircraft systems or in‑service environments Nice to Have Skills and Experience Experience with FAA/regulatory bodies or 14 CFR compliance Background in continued operational safety or safety organizations Experience with safety analysis (FMEA, Fault Tree, etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
