Specialist, Ops, Finance

Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records. Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measures results against standards. Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special projects; summarizes information; identifies trends. Consolidates regional weekly projections and forecasts as needed. Contributes to and performs monthly closing for the regional area. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed. Maintains area payroll Ultipro files. Assists controller in ensuring necessary controls are in place. Assists in monthly closing process and ensures all functions are performed on a timely basis. Performs other duties including validation of OPRS and assistance with forecast and yearly budgets. Qualifications Education: High school diploma required. Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Work Experience: At least 3 years accounting experience in a high volume, high transaction manufacturing environment. Previous experience in SAP or other ERP programs preferred. Technical Skills: CPA or other finance/accounting certifications is a plus. Language / Communication Skills: Effective written and oral communication skills. Bilingual is a plus.
