The Lawn Spraying Technician is responsible for the safe and effective application of lawn care chemicals to maintain healthy landscapes. This year-round role involves both independent work and collaboration with a team, focusing on pest identification, equipment operation, and environmental safety. The technician will handle local travel to various sites while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Apply chemicals accurately and safely to lawns and landscapes
• Maintain and troubleshoot spraying equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Follow safety protocols and environmental compliance guidelines
• Identify common lawn pests and recommend appropriate treatments
• Keep detailed records of applications, materials used, and work completed
• Interact professionally with customers, addressing questions and concerns
• Dispose of chemical waste responsibly in accordance with regulations
• Calibrate spray equipment to ensure proper chemical distribution

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in lawn care or landscaping
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures
• Proficient in equipment operation and maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and work outdoors
