Human Resources Generalist

TheWestern Massachusetts Training Consortium in Holyoke,Massachusetts ishiringa Full-Time Human Resources Generalist (40 hours/week) at $23.50/hour (.50 per hour differential for bilingual English/Spanish skill).This isa non-exempt position. ADMINISTRATIVE:

Coordinate and support recruitmentprocesses, including reference checks and Job postings Onboard new hires, including facilitating Welcome Meetings: Process new hires, rehires, reassignment, and transfers. Set up time/swipe cards; assistwith onboarding and offboarding tasks in the HRIS system Track benefit enrollments and costs; administer COBRA Reconcile monthly benefit vendor insurance invoices to ensure accuracy;provide cost and backup data Prepare and update the Leave of Absence tracking spreadsheet weekly; process PFML Work closely with Finance and Payroll to provide information and data Create and coordinate personnelfiles; maintain organized employee records

Supportthe team on the annualOpen Enrollment process Assistwith employee benefit programs, including health insurance, life insurance, dental, and retirementprograms. Serve as liaison to employees on leave and programs Provide Workers’ Compensation claim support and wage information Provide Wage and Employment Verification Letters Coordinate Unemployment related process and support

PERFORMANCE REVIEWS:

Assistwith the performance review process; track and manage inventory,filein personnel files, follow upto ensure completion.

REQUIREDSKILLS:

Demonstrated commitmentto social justice Strong organizational skillstomaintainaccuratedata utilizing digital and manual filingsystems Computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications.
