Environmental Services Supervisor Are you passionate about creating a safe, clean, and inviting environment for patients, visitors, and staff? Encompass Health seeks an Environment Services Supervisor with dedication to maintaining high standards. This pivotal role involves overseeing housekeeping and laundry services while ensuring compliance with regulations and upholding our hospital's mission. Responsibilities Support appropriate and compliant contracts with vendors to ensure quality products and services. Collaborate with Nursing and Admissions to ensure patient rooms are ready for patient arrivals. Manage inventory to optimize cost of supplies and maintain equipment. Approve hours worked and manage payroll. Control linen supply par levels based on census and oversee laundry distribution. Review, update and replace MSDS sheets and policies and procedures. Perform routine and isolation cleaning procedures according to infection control standards. Understand and institute standards for cleanliness and sanitation. Use chemicals properly in accordance with manufacturer's labels. Organize, plan, and manage time effectively to complete assignments. Meet position requirements and perform essential functions. Complete mandatory training and courses required by the completion date. Report questionable situations, concerns, complaints or harassment immediately. Qualifications High School diploma or GED preferred. Previous housekeeping experience. Healthcare experience preferred. Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
