Registered Nurse - Cardiac Rehab. PRN

Overview Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards. Position Details Mercy Hospital St. Louis – Cardiac Rehab 625 S New Ballas Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63141 Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program. Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license within the hiring state or appropriate compact; meet all state board of nursing requirements. Physical Requirements: Push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Prolonged standing and walking required each shift. Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. Experience: Previous experience in cardiac rehabilitation or similar inpatient setting preferred. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM) may be required based on unit.
