Mini Bar Attendant

RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspects, inventories, and re-stocks guest room Mini Bar according to established standards.Records guest consumption accurately and according to established standards.Submits all guest consumption checks to the Front Office for posting to guest accounts.Complete all minor adjustments to the Mini Bars as requested by guests or management.Attends departmental meetings as required.Reports all Mini Bars requiring repairs to engineeringInforms next shift of any rooms not attended.Respond to guest inquires in a friendly and professional manner and in accordance with standards of the hotel.Performs all responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner, following established company policies.Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance so prompt corrective actions may be taken when appropriate. Introduce and deliver new products to every room and update minibar menu.Remove all mini bars from team rooms or with other special requests and replace upon departureCoordinate with Purchasing department and Housekeeping Managers items that are out, damaged or out of the ordinary.Coordinate with Front Desk and Housekeeping Managers for early arrivals, late check outs, early check outs, day use and out of the ordinary rooms.Inventories and re-stocks Service CartMaintains Mini Bar storeroom in a neat and orderly fashionMaintains a cleaning and expired items check program for all Mini Bars. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Physical Demands: Requires walking/standing to a significant degreepossibly for entire shift. Requires ability to move fingers and hands quickly and easily. Requires ability to lift, bend, stretch and reach. Requires ability to push/pull Service Cart. Requires ability to communicate orally and in writing with hotel staff and guests. Environmental Conditions: Inside protection from weather conditions. Essential Skills: Requires familiarity with applicable franchise standards and procedures. Requires ability to communicate professionally with co-workers and guests. Requires ability to prepare reports and monitor record keeping programs to ensure proper maintenance of Mini Bar equipment. Education/Vocational Preparation: High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Must have ability to provide service to guests and to complete reporting requirements.
