Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Rhode Island
• Proven experience delivering psychological assessments and interventions in K-12 settings
• Strong knowledge of special education processes, IEP development, and relevant state/federal regulations
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to foster positive relationships and support diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to support academic, social, and emotional development
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to recommend strategies and accommodations
• Guide crisis intervention episodes and promote mental health awareness within the school community
• Support special education eligibility evaluations, behavior management planning, and ongoing progress monitoring
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
