Quality Technician

Job Description MasterMold is hiring a hands-on Quality Technician for a first-shift position with a 3- or 4-day workweek and weekend coverage. You’ll support manufacturing quality control, product inspection, and continuous improvement while working closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality. Responsibilities Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products. Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement equipment. Document defects, inspection results, and quality data. Support root-cause analysis, corrective actions, containment, sorting, and rework verification. Assist with control plans, PFMEAs, SPC, audits, and continuous improvement. Partner with Production and Engineering to improve product and process quality. Qualifications Manufacturing quality control, quality assurance, or inspection experience. Experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read work instructions, inspection criteria, and technical documentation. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, statistical process control, capability studies, control plans, PFMEAs, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is preferred.
