Project Manager

Project Manager – Vehicle Acquisition DCS is looking for a Project Manager with direct DoD, Government, and/or Federal experience. Essential Job Functions: Use knowledge of vehicle acquisition program(s) to provide administration support, project management, and technical development support. Provide recommendations and technical advice in compliance with the DoD 5000 series and Federal Acquisition Regulations. Adhere to quality standards and reviews for project deliverables. Manage all aspects of assigned projects, serving as single point of contact. Take projects from original concept through final implementation. Interface with organization and customers; define scope and objectives; develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conduct project meetings, track and analyze progress, manage taskers, coordinate staffing, and ensure timely execution. Analyze data, assess program progress, provide technical and analytical guidance, recommend solutions, and deliver oral recommendations and presentations. Required Skills & Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain security clearance. Master’s degree in a specialized field with a minimum of 6 years applicable experience, or Bachelor’s with 8 years, or Associate’s with 10 years, or High School/GED with 16 years, and at least 9 years of specialized experience. Experience with DoD acquisitions, managing multiple engineering change proposals, modification work orders, procurement directives, and combat system survivability, lethality, cab, tracked chassis and auxiliary systems. Oversight of concurrent project portfolio, guiding cross‑functional teams from concept to sustainment. Regular reporting of cost, schedule, and performance for multiple efforts; lead project meetings and coordinate deliverables. Comprehensive technical and financial analyses for multi‑million‑dollar equipment upgrades and modernization. Background and knowledge of planning, organizing, supervising, tracking, and reporting on complex programs. Develop and manage scope, SOW/WBS, resource plans, and master schedules. Serve as primary point of contact, liaise with military personnel, civilian leadership, contractors, and internal departments. Provide professional development briefs and technical guidance on status, procedures, compliance, and best practices. Salary: $60,000.00 yearly Employment Type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
