Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, applying evidence-based practices to gather information effectively.
  • Evaluate clients' individual needs, issues, and therapy goals to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored specifically to their unique situations.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients across all age ranges, addressing diverse mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and building stronger relational foundations.
  • Develop and regularly update personalized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback, ensuring adaptive care that meets evolving needs.
  • Maintain meticulous client records, documenting progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories to ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress, demonstrating skills in risk assessment and de-escalation.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques, research, and best practices.
  • Adhere strictly to ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines, representing the organization's values in all interactions.
  • Empower clients by advocating for their rights and well-being while assisting them in identifying additional resources when necessary.
  • Promote self-care and wellness initiatives, both for clients and personally, to prevent burnout and sustain a healthy practice.
  • Ensure a secure and confidential remote therapy environment, utilizing appropriate tools and technology to facilitate virtual sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of clients, ranging from adolescents to seniors. Our clients come from various backgrounds and often face a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, trauma recovery, and more. Your role will be crucial in providing them with tailored support that addresses their unique circumstances and promotes their overall mental health and resilience.

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
  • A minimum of one year of experience providing therapy, with a strong focus on individual or couples therapy.
  • Proficiency in using remote therapy platforms, ensuring effective delivery of therapy services while maintaining client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience conducting therapy sessions via telehealth platforms to effectively engage with clients remotely.
  • Experience in crisis intervention techniques and managing acute mental health situations.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches and a commitment to adhering to best practices in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a sign-on bonus of $3,000! Additionally, our benefits package includes:
