The Lead Carpenter plays a pivotal role in overseeing residential kitchen and bathroom remodels, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and efficient project completion. This position leads the carpentry team, coordinates with clients, and utilizes traditional carpentry tools to deliver exceptional remodels. The Lead Carpenter is expected to travel daily between job sites to manage and supervise work progress directly.
Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen remodeling projects to completion with precision and quality
- Oversee bathroom remodeling efforts, ensuring detailed craftsmanship
- Manage and coordinate daily travel between residential job sites
- Utilize traditional carpentry tools effectively across all projects
- Supervise and mentor carpentry team members to maintain productivity and standards
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates
- Identify and resolve problems quickly to avoid project delays
- Plus general contracting as well not just kitchens and bath
Required Qualifications
- Proven carpentry skills with leadership experience
- Strong team leadership capabilities
- Effective client communication skills
- Problem-solving aptitude in dynamic work environments
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in carpentry
- High School Diploma or equivalent
