Job Opportunity: Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN Acute Care)

Our organization is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Acute Care Therapies team on a PRN basis. This position involves providing essential support to patients throughout our healthcare facilities.

• Administer therapeutic exercises and assist with mobility and gait training.
• Engage patients in functional activities under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Track and document patient progress effectively.
• Educate patients and their families on safe mobility practices and home exercise routines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehabilitation team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and quality standards in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

• Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
