Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Onancock, VA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed telemetry and surgical floor
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and post-surgical care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Virginia or a valid compact nursing license (must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Specialty experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry within the last year
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIH stroke scale education and training
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting
