Job Summary:
Long Term Care nurse in a skilled nursing setting on the east coast. The role involves providing direct patient care, implementing and evaluating patient care plans utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. Acts as a patient advocate, supports, educates patients and families, and ensures adherence to infection prevention and control protocols. The position requires working in a team environment across various units, with a focus on delivering compassionate, competent nursing care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour daytime shifts from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm, rotating weekends. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active MD state RN license, BLS certification through the American Heart Association, 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Work will be based in a long-term care or skilled nursing unit.
  • The facility utilizes Point Click Care electronic medical record system.
  • New employees complete onboarding at PRMC in Salisbury, followed by facility-specific orientation in Crisfield.
  • Orientation includes online, classroom, shadowing, and resident care.
  • Employees will be assigned to a specific hall/unit and will rotate through four halls.
  • The unit emphasizes essential nursing skills such as head-to-toe assessments, medication administration, wound care, infection control, and emergency response.
