Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify students' mental health needs, strengths, and potential challenges, delivering a comprehensive understanding that informs tailored intervention strategies. \n
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. \n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with explicit goals and interventions, ensuring alignment with each student’s unique needs and progress. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, educators, and school administrators, to coordinate holistic care for students, addressing both academic and emotional needs. \n
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops to engage students and promote awareness about mental health and coping strategies. \n
- Offer crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning as necessary to manage acute concerns and support student safety within the school environment. \n
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress and comply with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in all professional interactions. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development and training programs to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic practices. \n
The focus of this position is on school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related issues. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). \n
