Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential In-Home Service Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver expert electrical services directly to homeowners, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable electrical systems. Your expertise will help improve clients’ living environments by troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining a wide range of residential electrical components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work independently while providing top-tier service that enhances customer satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues within residential properties, including low voltage and high voltage systems
• Install new electrical wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on existing electrical systems to prevent future issues
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to ensure proper functioning of electrical components
• Collaborate with homeowners to explain repairs or upgrades clearly and professionally
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician with residential in-home service background; industrial or commercial experience,  Minimum 5 years.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low/high voltage systems
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician experience, and renovation projects is desirable
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices safely and effectively
• Valid electrician license or certification as required by local jurisdiction
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting electrical issues
• Strong communication skills for working directly with homeowners and team members
• Valid Drivers License
• Must pass a Background check
• Must pass Drug Screen
