Platform One Software Engineer - Mid

We are supporting a game‑changing software development approach for the United States Air Force (USAF) and the Department of War (DoW) through the development and support of software applications and associated cloud‑based infrastructures. Our team is looking for an experienced software engineer with a broad background in full‑stack web application development who can thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced, agile environment. Preferred location is Colorado Springs, CO or San Antonio, TX, though remote work will be considered for strong candidates able to work independently. Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of technical experience. Additional relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Experience with web application development frameworks (React, Angular JS, Vue JS, JavaScript, etc.) Experience with API development and implementation. Experience with object‑oriented programming languages (Golang, Python, Java, C#) Experience with database development (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) Experience developing within an Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) environment (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Scaled Agile Framework, etc.) Experience with Git Ops and version control software (Git) Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.) Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, flexible environment and willing to take initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Must be a U.S. Citizen due to DoW contract requirements. Ability to pass a security background check. Desired Skills Experience with collaboration tools (Mattermost, Slack, Teams, etc.) Experience with Platform One or other DoW Software Factories. Experience with application deployment in Docker containers. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, etc. Experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes). Experience with identity and access management tools (Keycloak, Appgate, Okta, etc.) Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Script Runner, etc.) Understanding of AI/ML concepts (bonus if you’ve implemented an AI/ML feature). Security Clearance Requirement None Benefits Salary Range: $103,500.00 – $181,100.00.
