The Medical Assistant/Front Desk professional will support a specialty clinic by providing a flexible blend of administrative and clinical support. Reporting to the practice manager, this role will adjust between front-desk and clinical duties based on daily demand while helping ensure an efficient, patient-centered experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient check-in and intake.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Verify insurance coverage and process payments.
• Perform phone triage.
• Room patients and measure vital signs.
• Provide clinical assistance, including basic wound care.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of medical assisting experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency in vital signs measurement, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
