Local CDL Driver

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a dependable Local CDL Driver to operate tractor-trailers on 2nd shift in Anthony, Texas. This role focuses on safely transporting goods on local route, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. The driver will interact professionally with customers and maintain accurate documentation, with loading and unloading handled by separate staff. Responsibilities * Operate tractor-trailers safely on local routes during night shifts * Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies * Follow scheduled routes and maintain punctuality * Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips * Complete accurate delivery and transport documentation * Interact professionally with customers during deliveries Required Qualifications * Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience * Valid CDL license with experience driving tractor-trailers * Proficient in route planning for local deliveries * Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices * Strong understanding of safety regulations * Effective time management skills * Clear communication and customer service abilities * Excellent attention to detail * Must be registered on FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse * Must have a clean driving record * Must be able to pass background and drug screen successfully
