KFC Assistant Unit Manager

The Assistant Unit Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager in achieving business goals by leading the restaurant team, ensuring a superior guest experience, and developing team members. This role is a training ground for future restaurant leadership positions.

Partner with the Restaurant General Manager to monitor and achieve performance goals.

Ensure a consistently excellent guest experience by maintaining cleanliness, service quality, and food standards.

Lead by example to uphold high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Recruit, train, and mentor team members for growth and development.

Communicate business updates, promotions, and team objectives clearly and effectively.

Promote a team-focused and family-oriented work culture.

Adaptability & Accountability: Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, accepts criticism and feedback, changes approach or method to best fit the situation and takes responsibility for own actions.

Previous customer service or cashier experience desirable.

Will be exposed to varying weather conditions, soil, pollen, grass and plant materials and fertilizer while working; will be exposed to cleaning solutions of home strength; may be exposed to industrial strength solutions for pest control, paints or solvents, biohazards such as bloodborne pathogens, sewage, or building waste.
