Responsibilities:As a Senior Associate in Aprio’s Tax department, a typical day might include: Interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services benefiting clients in diverse industries Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all required tax returnsDevelop and implement tax strategies that optimize our company's tax position while considering business goals, industry trends, and regulatory changesCollaborate with clients and provide proactive tax advice and solutionsLead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their growth and developmentBuild and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional serviceCoordinate workload distribution, projects, and training initiatives within the tax department Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accountingRecent work experience with an accounting firm 3-5 years of experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting Experience in Corporate, S-Corp. and/or Partnership returns Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technologyLicensed CPA or EA preferred$91,000 - $124,500 a yearThe salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
