Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care specializes in Renal/Vascular Surgery, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Patient Partnership: Engages patients and families through effective communication, including bedside reports and education, focusing on patient goals and cultural considerations. Teamwork & Collaboration: Coordinates safe care delivery, documents accurately, and promotes a respectful, inclusive environment. Supports performance improvement initiatives and participates in shared governance. Professional Development: Completes mandatory training, serves as a mentor or preceptor, and models professional nursing practices to foster a qualified workforce. Research & Evidence-Based Practice: Supports clinical research, quality improvement, and policy adherence to enhance patient outcomes. Resource Management: Contributes to protocol development and optimizes resource use to improve care quality and efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred. Current RN license (single-state or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification.
