Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Provide general patient care and monitor vital signs
• Administer medications and manage controlled substances
• Handle advanced equipment such as hoyer lifts, rolling computers, and rolling VS
• Perform procedures such as NG/NJ tube placements and chest tube management
• Manage patients returning from heart procedures in the cath lab

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Experience with NG/NJ tubes, chest tubes, and heparin drips
• Preferred: BSN and Med/Surg experience
