About the Opportunity: DT-Trak Consulting, Inc. is a Native American-owned, SBA 8(a)-certified federal healthcare staffing firm actively recruiting a licensed Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide supplemental podiatry coverage at the Warm Springs Service Unit (WSSU), operated by the Indian Health Service (IHS) in Warm Springs, Oregon. This is a federally contracted 1099 independent contractor position supporting foot and ankle care services for the tribal community served by WSSU. Services will be performed on-site at the Warm Springs Service Unit clinic.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive podiatric medical and surgical care to IHS patient population
• Perform routine and complex foot and ankle evaluations, treatments, and procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with IHS standards
• Coordinate care with on-site clinical staff, primary care providers, and specialists
• Adhere to applicable federal, IHS, and facility-specific credentialing and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution
• Active, unrestricted Oregon state podiatric medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• Board certified or board eligible (ABPM or ABFAS)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical podiatry experience post-residency
• Ability to pass federal background check and credentialing review (OIG/LEIE, NPDB)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Must carry own professional liability/malpractice insurance ($1M/$3M minimum)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in IHS, tribal health, FQHC, or rural/underserved settings
• Familiarity with RPMS/EHR systems used in IHS facilities
• Experience with diabetic foot care, wound management, or limb salvage

Compensation: $125$145/hour, 1099 all-inclusive

Flexible scheduling supplemental/locum coverage model

Estimated 1,920 hours annually (approximately 23 clinical days per week)

Contractor responsible for own taxes, SE tax, and malpractice insurance
