Construction Inspectors WMATA

Key Responsibilities Perform construction inspection work related to civil, electrical/communications, mechanical, structural, roofing, and general contracting to ensure compliance with plans and specifications; Ensure work is in compliance with approved plans and specifications of each project along with approved means, methods, and procedures; and Receive assignments from and report to the MATOC Program Manager, WMATA Task Manager, or designated representative. Qualifications A minimum of three (3) years of experience as civil, mechanical, structural, roofing, and general contracting inspector; A minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting multiple tasks; Practical knowledge of engineering and construction practices and disciplines, as well as of the codes and regulations relating to different technical areas of construction; and Successful completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course.
