Head Lifeguard

Job Summary:ResponsibilitiesWe're seeking a Head Lifeguard to join our team. As our new Head Lifeguard you will:Address patron concerns and provide frontline customer serviceCoordinate emergency response efforts per YWCA’s Emergency Action PlanCommunicate schedule changes and updates to staff and patronsEnsure lifeguard rotation and break schedules are followedAdjust water features and programs to suit patron needsMaintain cleanliness and safety of the Aquatics AreaTrack and replenish first aid and safety suppliesAssist with administrative and programming duties as assignedProvide lifeguard or swim instruction coverage when neededThe Ideal Candidate would have:Current accredited Lifeguarding Certification or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hirePrior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessonsCurrent CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain the certification at the time of hirePer pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $18.50 - $20.40/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
