1st Class Fluxcore Welder

Houma, LA | Day/Night Shift | Full-Time

Shipyard Environment

Summary

Seeking an experienced 1st Class Fluxcore Welder with 3+ years of fluxcore welding experience. The ideal candidate will weld steel components while following blueprints, work orders, and safety standards.

Must Haves

  • 3+ years of fluxcore welding experience
  • Ability to pass a hands-on weld test
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
  • Strong knowledge of welding safety and quality standards

Preferred

  • Shipyard or heavy industrial welding experience
  • Experience with gouging and weld repairs
  • Equipment troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail
