Work Environment\n

This position allows you the opportunity to work remotely while being fully integrated into a vibrant team that collaborates to deliver exceptional client care. Our regular operational hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., with flexible scheduling options, including 4x10 or 5x8 shifts, to encourage work-life balance and accommodate your personal commitments. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Provide individual, group, or family psychotherapy tailored to meet the unique emotional and psychological needs of clients.

  • Conduct thorough interviews with clients to obtain and interpret relevant social, personal, environmental, and health information.
  • \n
  • Assess, diagnose, and formulate treatment plans for a range of mental health issues within your licensure scope, such as depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.

  • Coordinate and develop programs and activities that address the social and emotional requirements of clients, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.
  • \n
  • Deliver crisis intervention strategies and referrals to external community resources for clients in need of immediate support.
  • \n
  • Foster empathetic and respectful relationships with clients to create an environment of trust conducive to effective therapy.
  • \n
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions and adjust strategies as necessary for optimal client progress.
  • \n
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with established protocols.

  • Manage a caseload in line with organization standards and ensure timely, accurate case documentation.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and adhere to industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our target population includes individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, grief and loss, family dynamics, and substance abuse issues. Qualifications\n

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • \n
  • Must hold a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of New Jersey.

  • A minimum of four years of experience in social work or a closely related area is preferred.

  • Proven experience in counseling clients dealing with a wide range of behavioral health issues, including but not limited to depression, mood disorders, and family counseling, is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in working with children, adolescents, and families, particularly in a community health setting.

  • Familiarity with digital therapy tools and telehealth platforms is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Parent Infant Mental Counseling Center offers competitive compensation ranging from $85,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
