Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, conducting physical examinations and scrutinizing medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues by analyzing imaging results and lab data
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to devise and implement personalized surgical treatment protocols
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance including preparing the OR, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing instruments
• Ensure outstanding pre- and post-operative care, involving medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and educating patients

Education

• A Master's degree from an accredited PA program
• Completion of surgical-focused clinical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C credential
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant (or qualification for it)
