Location: Chicago, IL. This is a full-time Emergency Medicine Faculty Physician position with a focus on clinical care, teaching residents, and participating in scholarly activity and residency education.
Base pay range
$250,000.00/hr - $300,000.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Be involved in teaching residents and resident education/conference.
- Provide compassionate care to the community and practice evidence-based standards of care for emergency medical services.
- Engage in scholarly activity with support from a dedicated research department.
- Work within a 25-bed ED with a Fast-track zone run by APCs and an expected 40,000 annual ED visits.
- Contribute to program development as part of the new Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the mission, values, and behaviors of Insight Hospital and Medical Center.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Residency completed in Emergency Medicine.
- ABEM certified (or Board Eligible within 3 years of residency completion).
- Active Illinois state license required.
- ACLS required for all providers.
- Covid-19 Vaccination.
- Experience with teaching and academics.
