As our Board Certified / Board Eligible Neurosurgeon with specialized expertise in spinal disorders, you will join our world-renowned neuroscience team at CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Every day you will be an integral part of a large, integrated team within a tertiary care neuroscience center, focusing on providing comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for a broad spectrum of complex and routine spine conditions. You will leverage your expertise to deliver patient-centered care and clinical excellence, benefiting from a strong referral base and the opportunity to assist a robust practice specializing in neurosurgery. As part of the CommonSpirit Memorial Neuroscience Institute, a World-Renowned Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Leading Neurology Network, you will function within a highly collegial Institute encompassing neurohospitalist, neuro interventional, and other neurosurgery components, offering unparalleled collaboration and support.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Certified / Board Eligible Neurosurgeon with a strong focus on spinal disorders and a commitment to clinical superiority.

• Performing complex and routine spinal surgeries, utilizing advanced surgical techniques and technologies.
\n
• Providing comprehensive non-surgical management options for various spine conditions.
\n
• Conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
\n
• Collaborating closely with neurohospitalists, and other specialists within the Neuroscience Institute.
\n
• Participating in daily rounds, consultations, and multidisciplinary case conferences to optimize patient outcomes.
\n
• Engaging in Research & Innovation opportunities, benefiting from our institute's 15+ years at the forefront of acute stroke research and nationwide collaborations.
\n
• Maintaining rigorous documentation and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and patient safety protocols.
\n

• MD or DO degree

• Board certified / board eligible in Neurosurgery

• Ability to obtain an active medical license & DEA for Tennessee

• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
