Join a Growing, Patient-Focused Eye Care Team We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Optometrist to join our established, fast-paced ophthalmology practice. This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-scope medical optometry alongside experienced ophthalmologists in a collaborative environment dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Position Details Full-time, part-time, per-diem opportunities available No evening or weekend hours required Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience Bonuses based on performance Modern clinics with state-of-the-art equipment Requirements Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution Must be comfortable with routine and medically-focused optometry work Medically manage and monitor patients with glaucoma Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ethical standards Ability to work as part of a team is critical Responsibilities Perform routine eye examinations for refractive errors Conduct comprehensive medical eye examinations, including evaluation and management of common eye conditions (DM, ARMD, Glaucoma, etc.) Manage post-operative cataract patients in coordination with the surgeon Co-manage patients with ophthalmology as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Provide compassionate, patient-centered care Why Plano & the DFW Metroplex?
