Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Location: Raymond, OH

Job Summary:

The Industrial Engineer will support automotive manufacturing and production-line engineering activities, with a strong focus on robotic simulation, plant investigations, feasibility studies, robot reach analysis, interference/clearance analysis, and cycle-time optimization . The role will support welding, paint, final assembly, and new vehicle model introduction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform plant investigations, feasibility studies, and developmental engineering activities

Conduct robot reach, interference, and clearance analysis

Perform robotic simulations for welding, sealing, and material-handling processes

Optimize weld-spot distribution across robots while meeting cycle-time requirements

Develop equipment, robot, and process specifications

Create problem-tracking charts and develop engineering solutions

Support new vehicle model introduction on existing production lines

Support production ramp-up, line innovation, and line renovation activities

Provide engineering support for Weld, Paint, and Final Assembly processes

Coordinate project activities with onsite and offshore engineering teams

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline

Experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial engineering

Strong experience with 3DX robotic simulation Must Have

Experience with robotic simulation and robot reach studies

Experience with interference/clearance analysis and cycle-time analysis

Experience with weld-spot/spot-welding processes

Experience supporting automotive production lines or plant engineering

Knowledge of equipment, robot, and process specifications

Experience with welding, sealing, material handling, paint, or final assembly processes

Experience supporting new model introduction, production ramp-up, line innovation, or line renovation
