Wildlife Biologist II/Arborist

We are seeking a dedicated Wildlife Biologist II/Arborist to contribute to our environmental conservation efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field studies of wildlife populations and habitats, collecting and analyzing ecological data, and preparing detailed reports to inform conservation strategies. You will play a key role in monitoring ecosystem health, assessing species diversity, and implementing management plans that promote sustainable practices. Collaboration with local communities, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies will be essential to ensure the effectiveness of wildlife management initiatives. In addition to wildlife biology, this position requires expertise in arboriculture. You will assess tree health, identify potential hazards, and recommend appropriate management techniques. Duties include conducting tree inventories, performing health assessments, and developing tree care plans. The ideal candidate will also engage in public education efforts to promote the importance of tree conservation and biodiversity. A commitment to environmental stewardship and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are critical for success in this role.
