Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting. This role involves providing quality care to a diverse patient population and collaborating effectively with our clinical team to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including evaluations, treatments, and follow-ups.
  • Manage a patient load of 1012 patients per day during an 8-hour shift.
  • Conduct 60-minute evaluations and deliver 30-minute follow-up treatments.
  • Support the clinical team in maintaining efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans using generative AI documentation tools.

  • General deconditioning
  • Neurological conditions

Patient Population

Our clinic serves a broad patient demographic, typically ranging in age from 15 to 90 years. We aim to provide personalized care to meet unique recovery needs.

Schedule Details

The clinic operates during the following hours:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

No weekends are required. Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate personal needs.

Opportunity for Advancement

This position includes a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the possibility of discussing further arrangements based on performance and organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • Must possess an active Physical Therapist Assistant license.
  • At least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience is required; preference will be given to candidates with more extensive experience.
  • New graduates are not accepted; candidates must have more than 1 year of relevant experience.
