General Production Worker Position Summary

• Manufacture ceramic materials used in cell phones and other electronic products.
• Measure, mix, and process ceramic powders and water according to production specifications.
• Ensure accuracy in material handling, batch preparation, and production documentation.
• Work in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and wet processing conditions.
• Complete onboarding and job training on first shift for approximately 2-3 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce custom ceramic powders through various manufacturing and processing operations.
• Measure, weigh, and load raw materials into mixers, mills, and blending equipment.
• Maintain accurate electronic and manual batch records.
• Perform in-process quality inspections and testing activities.
• Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Prepare ceramic mixtures through blending, milling, and mixing processes.
• Operate drying ovens and thermal processing equipment.
• Load and unload materials into saggers, tanks, and processing vessels.
• Conduct spray-drying operations for ceramic slurry materials.
• Clean, maintain, and sanitize equipment and production work areas.
• Support compliance with quality, environmental, and workplace safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move 50-60 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in dusty, wet, and industrial manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain accurate production, inventory, and batch documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic math and computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed process instructions.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and recordkeeping skills.

Work Environment

• ISO-certified manufacturing facility with a fast-paced production atmosphere.
• Exposure to ceramic powders, dust, moisture, and industrial processing equipment.
• Strong emphasis on quality control, continuous improvement, and safety compliance.
• Casual work environment with required PPE when applicable.
• Hands-on role involving material handling, equipment operation, and production processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Adamstown, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
