Provides high‑quality specialized instruction and case management services to eligible students. Location: Clarendon Elementary School (location may change based on student needs). Supervised by: Director & Assistant Director of Student Services and Building Principal. Start date: On or about August 20, 2026. Compensation: $48,082 – $89,758 per the collective bargaining agreement. Qualifications Licensure in Vermont as a Special Educator, or eligibility for such. Preference for candidates with Vermont licensure in Early Childhood Special Education or K‑8 special education. Ability to provide high‑quality specialized instruction and responsive case management services to eligible students. Ability to work effectively with special education teams and multiple stakeholders. Collaboration skills to meet a wide variety of student needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to pass all background and fingerprint requirements for working with preschool and school‑age students. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality specialized instruction across all educational and functional areas of performance. Provide responsive case management services, including communication and collaboration with stakeholders. Maintain special education paperwork compliance per Vermont regulations and MRUUSD expectations. Develop and implement IEPs to meet student needs. Participate in ongoing professional development as required by MRUUSD and Vermont licensure rules. Administer curriculum‑based and standardized assessments and participate in the Evaluation Plan and Report process. Attend a variety of special education meetings on behalf of students. Other responsibilities as assigned by Administration. Job Requirements New graduate bachelor's degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
